This 1948 Willys-Overland CJ-2A is said to have been used decades ago on a Northern California cattle ranch, where the mother of the family sometimes used the vehicle to bring lunch to cowhands in the field.

The CJ remained in the original owner’s family at least into the 1990s and also spent time in Nevada.

It was purchased from a friend of the original owner’s family in 2009 by a person who backdated the electrical and fuel systems and performed other mechanical work.

The seller bought the truck in 2017, and subsequent refurbishment work involved repainting it in beige, applying color-matched bedliner material to the interior of the body, and replacing the wiring harness, starter, tune-up parts, and tires.
