It was a disassembled project that had been stored in a barn when it was acquired out of Florida in 2013 by the seller, who began its two-year restoration in July 2021, utilizing new-old-stock (NOS) components in addition to parts sourced from DeLorean Go (DGo) and DeLorean Motor Company Houston (DMCH).
Rand Engine Systems of Chattanooga supported the rebuild of its 2.85-liter V6, while Dave McKeen supplied electrical items, and the exhaust system was sourced from DeLorean Performance Industries.
