This 1958 Citroën DS19 is a European-market model that was first registered in southern France and later remained in storage for more than three decades after it was taken off the road in the late 1960s.

In 2005, it was brought to the UK by prior owner David Spreadborough, who initiated a refurbishment that involved rebuilding the 1,911cc inline-four and four-speed semi-automatic transaxle, overhauling the central hydraulic system, re-trimming the interior in cloth, and repainting the body in Champagne with an Aubergine roof.
