This 1939 Ford Deluxe coupe was acquired by the seller’s family in 2000, and it was built into a hot rod over the next few years.

The top was chopped, louvers were added to the hood, and the trunk was smoothed before it was repainted metallic blue, and the interior was redone with gray upholstery, a CD stereo, a Lokar shifter, and modern gauges.

The 221ci flathead V8 was fitted with Edelbrock finned heads, an Offenhauser intake with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Fenton headers, and a C-4 automatic from TCI was retrofitted along with a Ford 8″ rear end.

The suspension was lowered with a drop axle, and front discs and a Vega steering box were added.
