The owner of this nose panel tells us that it was removed from customer-specification Porsche 935 chassis #930 990 0031, which reputedly spent time being driven in Japan after it was retired from a 1979 Le Mans entry by Interscope Racing.

The car was restored, and a lighter nose section was installed in preparation for competitive vintage racing.

When the car was sold, the buyer reportedly declined to acquire the items removed during the refurbishment.

In 2023, the seller notes that they acquired the nose section from Dennis Boada of Rennsport Porsche.

The bodywork is located at a friend of the owner’s restoration shop in Hubbard, Ohio, and it is offered at no reserve.
