This 1970 Porsche left the factory as a Signal Orange 914-6, and in the early 1980s, it is believed to have been modified by Mike Valentine—later of Valentine One radar detector fame.

Valentine reportedly commissioned John Truman of Stoddard Imported Cars in Ohio to perform their ‘GT’ conversion, which included retrofitting a 2.8-liter flat-six with individual throttle bodies along with upgraded braking and suspension components.

The car was refinished in Polar Silver around 1998, and in the early 2000s John Truman was again commissioned to perform further track-oriented modifications, including a welded-in roll cage, a fuel-injection system, and race seats.

The car was advertised , after which the current owner acquired the car.
