Condition

7

The car has been restored and modified, with the interior and exterior redone in their factory colors. However, there are some imperfections such as a hairline crack in the soft top frame and a repair on the front fender. The speedometer and fuel-level gauge read inaccurately, and the AM radio does not work. Overall, the car is in solid condition with slight wear visible.

This 1968 Ford Torino was first delivered as a GT convertible with Lime Gold paintwork, black upholstery on the bucket seats, a power-operated black soft top, power steering, a console, and an AM radio.

The car had been painted red and sat for four decades in a barn before it was acquired in 2020 by the seller, who subsequently undertook restoration and modification work.

Both the interior and exterior were redone in their factory colors, and a 331ci stroker V8 was retrofitted and linked to a rebuilt four-speed Toploader manual transmission and a rebuilt 9″ rear end.

Magnum 500-style wheels were added along with a Hurst shifter, a dual-circuit master cylinder, and front disc brakes.
