Chassis 19425 was acquired new in May 26, 1977, from Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports of Paoli, Pennsylvania, by the original owner, who reportedly traded in a Lamborghini Miura as part of the purchase.

The car spent time with various owners on the East Coast in the 1980s and 1990s before being sold to owners in Wisconsin in 2001, California in 2003, and North Carolina in 2022.
