216ci Inline-Six Three-Speed Manual Transmission Maroon Paint w/Wood Paneling Tan Vinyl Upholstery Three Rows of Bench Seats 16" Steel Wheels w/Bright Hubcaps Exterior Emergency Lighting Push-Button AM Radio
This 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster is a four-door station wagon that was purchased by the seller’s father in 1977 from the Hecla Mining Company in Idaho, where it is said to have been used as an ambulance at the Star mine.

Front and rear emergency lights have been retained and are activated via a cabin-mounted pull knob.

The metal bodywork was refinished in maroon around 1990 and is complemented by wood paneling and a maroon roof.

Powered by a 216ci inline-six mated to a three-speed column-shifted manual transmission, the wagon rides on 16″ wheels and has three rows of bench seats trimmed in tan as well as a push-button radio.

This Fleetmaster woodie is now offered with an owner’s manual, a service manual, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
