AI Listing Summary
This 1961 Imperial Crown convertible, one of the "Imps of Omaha," features a 413ci V8, automatic transmission, and luxurious options. While it presents service records dating back to the 1980s, the car shows some cosmetic wear and corrosion, suggesting it may need some attention.

Condition

The car has been repainted, the convertible top was repaired, and there are touch-ups and other blemishes pictured. The interior leather was re-dyed, and there's corrosion noted on underbody components. These factors indicate moderate wear and the need for some reconditioning.

This 1961 Imperial Crown convertible is said to be one of 22 examples that were ordered new in identical specifications by members of the Tangier Shrine Center of Omaha, Nebraska.
The Shriners’ cars—collectively known as the “Imps of Omaha”—were used for publicity in parades and other events.
Like other 1961 Imperials in the Omaha-based group, this car is finished in Alaskan White over Russett leather upholstery with a matching Russett soft top.
The car was part of Alvin Krenzien’s Nebraska collection with other ex-Shriner Imperials in the mid-1980s, when it was relocated to New England by a person who kept it until the seller’s 2021 acquisition of the vehicle.
