This 1936 Rolls-Royce Phantom III initially wore Windovers coachwork and remained under original ownership in the UK for many years.
By the 1970s, chassis 3AX163 had been brought to the US, where it was refurbished and retrofitted with aluminum alloy saloon bodywork produced by J.S.
Inskip of New York.
After the conversion was completed, the car was purchased by Bob Shaffner, a member of the Phantom III Technical Society who carried out additional work into the 1990s.
Power comes from a 7,338cc OHV V12 linked to a four-speed manual transmission, and the custom interior features black leather front seats, wood trim, and a rear passenger compartment swathed in eggplant upholstery and carpeting.
