This 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I is said to have been owned in California before being relocated in the 1980s to Colorado, where the seller acquired it in 2006.

The 2.9-liter inline-six and the four-speed manual transmission with overdrive were rebuilt in 2006, and the car was repainted in 2007.

The project stalled around that time, and it was subsequently media-blasted in late 2025.
