This 1977 Fiat 131 Mirafiori was modified in the style of Alitalia’s championship-winning Group 4 race car.

The project was completed in the late 1990s in Milan, Italy, reportedly under the guidance of Abarth-specialists Nello Riccardi and Samuel Baggioli, utilizing surplus components from the Fiat Competition Department.

Work involved outfitting Group 4-style bodywork and refinishing the car with an Alitalia livery.

A 2.0L DOHC inline-four, twin Weber 34 carburetors, a five-speed manual gearbox, Abarth-style brakes and suspension, and 15″ Compomotive wheels were also installed.

The interior was partially stripped and outfitted with fixed-back seats accompanied by multi-point harnesses, a roll cage, and Abarth instrumentation.
