This 1956 Ford F900 Big Job was converted to a fire truck by P.E.

Van Pelt of Oakdale, California, and it was acquired by the seller’s business in 2008 and underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 2010.

Work included modifying the bed with custom rear seating for 14 occupants, repainting the body, fitting power-adjustable bucket seats in the cab, installing a GM 350ci V8, and rebuilding the automatic transmission and two-speed dually rear axle.

The truck is further equipped with a siren, a cherrytop light, a bed misting system, power-assisted drum brakes, a Vintage Air HVAC system, a Pioneer CD stereo, MSD Atomic electronic fuel-injection, and dual exhaust system.
