This 1959 Elva Courier is noted to have been sold new in New Jersey as a factory-built example and campaigned in the E Production class at various SCCA events.

Chassis 10023L was later relocated to Florida, where it remained with the original owner through the early 2000s.

The car was repainted in green with white stripes as part of a refurbishment project carried out prior to 2005.
