This 1939 Chevrolet Master 85 business coupe is said to have been sold new through Cochrane Chevrolet in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and remained with its original owner for more than three decades.

It changed hands again in 2014 to a Nevada-based owner, who initiated a refurbishment that involved modifying the chassis and installing a 250ci Chevrolet marine inline-six linked to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a Jeep-sourced rear axle.

After the current owner took possession in 2022, mechanical work was completed, the body was repainted black, and the interior was reupholstered.
