This Packard Twelve V12 engine is a non-running example of the 473ci second-generation Packard V12, which followed but was otherwise unrelated to the Packard Twin Six V12 of 1916-1923.

Upon its debut in 1932, the new V12 was likewise named Twin Six, but confusion with its progenitor soon led to it being known as the Packard Twelve, and it remained in production through 1939.

The engine is finished in green with black-painted intake and exhaust manifolds, and it retains aluminum cylinder heads, a Bendix-Stromberg two-barrel carburetor, water and fuel pumps, a generator and starter, a distributor and coils, pulleys, an oil filter, and a clutch.
