This 1972 Datsun 510 two-door sedan was acquired by the seller in California in 1986 and was subsequently driven to the East Coast, where it was used as daily driver for many years.
It was converted to a race car in 2006, at which time fiberglass front fenders, polycarbonate side windows, fiberglass rear flares, and a welded roll cage were installed.
The car was repainted in yellow and rides on 13″ American Racing Libre wheels with an adjustable heim joint suspension that incorporates coilovers and front and rear sway bars.
