The car was initially delivered in Germany, and its second owner commissioned Aston Martin Works to retrofit their 6.3-liter conversion package, which was offered for the Virage coupe and Volante models beginning in 1992.
The conversion included boring and stroking the V8 to displace 6.3 liters as well as fitting it with wide bodywork, 18″ OZ alloy wheels, and AP Racing calipers over 14″ ventilated rotors.
It was imported to the US in the late 1990s before being acquired by the seller in the 2000s.
