This 1947 Dodge WD-15 is a ¾-ton pickup that was reportedly acquired by a previous owner in 1980 and used as a farm truck.

In 2002, it was leased to a movie production company and used in the filming of the adaptation of the John Grisham novel before receiving refurbishment work at D&D Classic Automobile Restoration of Covington, Ohio, in the mid-2000s.

That owner assembled the truck over the following decade, with work documented in magazine.

The 217.7ci inline-six was rebuilt; the suspension and brakes were overhauled; the frame was repaired; bodywork and rust repairs were performed; the truck was repainted blue and black; and the bench seat was reupholstered in brown vinyl.
