This 1969 Ford Torino Sportsroof is one of the approximately 750 examples equipped with the Talladega option that was created to meet NASCAR homologation requirements.

The package included an extended front nose cone, a flush-mounted grille and headlamps, special rocker panels, and a black hood and tail panel as well as staggered rear shocks.

All Talladegas were built between January and March 1969 with a 428-4V Cobra Jet V8 linked to a three-speed C6 automatic transmission, and they all had black interiors with a bench seat and one of three exterior color options.

This Wimbledon White example was restored in the late 80s with additional work between 2008 and 2009 by a previous owner, and it was acquired by the seller in 2017.
