This 1962 Ford Thunderbird is one of approximately 1,425 Sports Roadsters produced for the model year, and it is said to have remained in the previous owner’s family in Wisconsin for 54 years before it was acquired by the seller and relocated to Florida in 2017.

The blue soft top was replaced under previous ownership, and refurbishments following the seller’s purchase included rebuilding the 390ci V8 and Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission, reupholstering the interior, installing a RetroSound stereo, and replacing the tires and assorted steering, brake, and top hydraulic components. Sports Roadsters were equipped with wire wheels, front fender badges, a passenger-side dashboard grab bar, and a fiberglass tonneau cover that covered the back seat of the car.
