This 1969 Lotus Elan +2 coupe race car was purchased by the Fawcett Family Racing team in 2003 from a member of the Vintage Auto Racing Association (VARA).
Since that time, the car has been campaigned in that association as well as in the Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR) organization.
The inline-four has been rebuilt and modified by Ivey Engines to displace 1,683cc and features a stroker crankshaft, Cosworth L2 camshafts, a Weber cylinder head, Weber carburetors, a PerTronix distributor, and a Griffin aluminum radiator.
Finished in yellow and green over black vinyl, the car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential.
