AI Listing Summary
This 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Targa, one of 646 produced and not originally for the US market, has undergone a refurbishment after being stored for years. Finished in Platinum Metallic with black upholstery, it features a rebuilt 3.0-liter flat-six engine, five-speed manual transaxle, and 16" Fuchs wheels; however, the odometer reading is inaccurate and total mileage is unknown.
Condition
6
While the car has undergone a refurbishment, the listing explicitly states that the odometer reading is not accurate and total mileage is unknown. Additionally, the car was received in disassembled form and rebuilt, indicating it was not running at some point. The refurbishment work and replacement of parts, such as the quarter panel, also point away from a higher rating.

Odometer, TMU 3.0-Liter Flat-Six Five-Speed Manual Transaxle Platinum Metallic Paint Black Upholstery 16" Fuchs Wheels Removable Targa Roof Panel Kenwood Radio This 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 is one of 646 Targa examples produced for the model year, none of which were initially delivered to the US market.
The car was taken off the road and stored for years beginning in the early 1980s, and it was imported to the US sometime prior to a refurbishment that was initiated circa 2011.
The car was disassembled and repainted in Platinum Metallic at that time, but refurbishment work stalled, and the car changed hands several times until it was purchased as a project by the seller .
It has subsequently been completed.
Powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six linked with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Platinum Metallic over black upholstery, and it features a “whale tail” rear spoiler, 16″ Fuchs wheels, fog lamps, a rear-window wiper, and a Kenwood radio.
