This 1972 AMC Javelin SST was acquired by the seller in 2005, and in 2023 a refurbishment was completed during which the car was modified to resemble the Javelin that Mark Donohue drove to a championship in the SCCA’s Trans-Am series in 1971.

The car has been repainted in red, white, and blue, and a blue driver seat has been installed.

Power is supplied by a 360ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Mopar 8¾” limited-slip differential.

Equipment includes a rear spoiler, a front air dam, a cowl-induction hood, side pipes, Minilite-style 15″ wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, a Hurst shifter, an aluminum intake manifold, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor.
