This 1958 DKW Schnellaster is a Type F800/3 model that was fitted with a custom wood-lined cargo bed as part of a refurbishment completed in Germany before it was purchased by the selling dealer and imported to the US in 2022.

The bodywork wears blue and white paint and sits atop a red-painted frame, and power comes from a “3=6″ 900cc two-stroke triple that drives the front wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.

The truck rides on an independent suspension and is equipped with 16” steel wheels fitted over drum brakes.

The cab is accessed by rear-hinged doors and houses a split bench seat trimmed in black patterned cloth.
