This 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA is one of approximately 500 examples of the aluminum-bodied homologation model built between 1965 and 1967, and it is one of the initial batch prepared by Autodelta and produced with aluminum floors.
The car was initially c later driven to victory at the hands of Herke and co-driver Thiele in the VMR two-hour Enduro at Sears Point in 1987.
After being refurbished in the late 2000s, it was acquired by the current owner in 2016 and refurbished again over the next two years.
