This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 427ci L71 V8 and is said to have been raced by its original owner on Woodward Avenue in Detroit until the owner incurred a long-term jail sentence.

Prior articles state that the car was parked in his girlfriend’s backyard and remained there until she sold it to the second owner in the 1990s.

The third owner acquired it in 2001 and stored it until beginning a two-year restoration in 2015.
