Condition

The car has undergone a refurbishment, addressing dents and paint issues. While it boasts a re-trimmed interior and several replaced/repaired components, there are still some cosmetic issues like cracking paint and a groove on the wheel rim. Mechanically, there are minor issues such as the engine running rich and oil seepage, suggesting it's not in top mechanical condition.

This 1938 BMW 327 cabriolet was reportedly delivered new to a doctor in Germany on Christmas Eve and later made its way to a collector in Boulder, Colorado, circa the 1980s or 1990s.
Chassis 73722 was purchased in a non-running state in the early 2000s by the seller’s parents, who subsequently sent it back to Germany for a refurbishment by Freudenberger Classic in Bavaria.
After the seller’s father’s passing, the project was completed in 2012 before the car was returned to the US and placed in storage in California for four years.
In 2016 it was moved back to Colorado, where the seller took ownership in 2017.
