This 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta was completed on June 18, 1960, as one of approximately 213 Sprint Zagato coupes built during a three-year production span.

Chassis 00008 was initially sold to Italian privateer Vito Coco and was purportedly later delivered to Virgilio Conrero to receive modifications and preparations for endurance racing.
