This 1961 Fiat 1200 cabriolet was purchased by the seller in 1990 as a rolling chassis with no engine or transmission.

Over the next five years, the seller installed a front subframe and front disc brakes from a Fiat 1500 cabriolet along with a replacement twin-cam 1.8L inline-four and a five-speed manual gearbox.

The car was repainted red before being placed into storage, where it remained until October 2024.

Work at that time involved installing a replacement timing belt before starting and tuning the engine as well as fitting side windows and replacing the shocks and rear differential pinion seal.

This Fiat 1200 is now offered as a running project at no reserve with spare parts, shop manuals, and an Idaho title.
