This 1946 Ford Super Deluxe station wagon was acquired out of Arizona by the current owner in 1997, and it subsequently was refurbished beginning in 1998 during a process that lasted more than 20 years and involved rebuilding the flathead V8 with a 4.00″ crankshaft, refinishing the black paint and the wood body panels, and retrimming the tan leather interior.
Equipment includes a 12-volt electrical system, PerTronix electronic ignition, and a PerTronix coil as well as a three-speed manual transmission, 16” steel wheels, hubcaps and trim rings, whitewall tires, three rows of bench seating, and an AM radio.
