Condition

7

The car has undergone a body-off refurbishment including body work, repaint, interior refresh, and mechanical rebuilds. While the refurbishment addresses many issues, the seller notes some electrical issues (horn and turn signals not working) and a faulty fuel gauge, suggesting it isn't in perfect condition. The speedometer also works erratically, impacting the overall rating.

This 1963 Triumph TR3B was purchased by the previous owner’s late husband in California in the mid-1960s and driven to Maine, where it reportedly was stored in a barn from the mid-1970s until the seller purchased the car in 2021.

A subsequent body-off refurbishment involved performing body work prior to a repaint in blue, refreshing the blue vinyl interior, rebuilding the 2,138cc inline-four, resealing the four-speed manual transmission, overhauling the brakes and the suspension, and rebuilding the carburetors and the steering.

This TR3B is now offered with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, refurbishment photos and records, and Maine registration in the name of the seller’s spouse.
