This 1924 Rolls-Royce 40/50 is one of approximately 1,700 Silver Ghosts built at the company’s American factory in Springfield, Massachusetts, and was delivered new in Chicago on October 24, 1924, with Mayfair town-car coachwork.
After changing hands in the late 1930s, chassis 322LF was purchased in 1932 by horror film star Lionel Atwill in Los Angeles, where it appeared under subsequent ownership in 1969 with replacement touring coachwork.
By the late-2000s the car had undergone a refurbishment that included the fabrication of bodywork in the style of the H.J.
