Condition

Based on the description, the car underwent a refurbishment in the late 2000s, including a repaint, retrimming of the interior, and refreshing of the braking system. Recent work in July 2024 addressed some mechanical issues, such as the water pump and fuel-level sensor. However, the seller notes a paint crack on the hood and aged windshield-wiper blades, and corrosion is noted on underbody components. Overall, the car seems to be in good condition, but it has some cosmetic and mechanical wear that requires some attention.

This 1957 Alfa Romeo 1900 is one of 300 Primavera hardtop coupes produced with coachwork by Boano between 1955 and 1957.

The car—chassis 17050—was imported to the United States from Italy in the 1960s, after which it remained in New Jersey with the original owner’s family until 2005, spending many years in storage.

It was then acquired from the original owner’s grandson by the current owner, who commissioned a refurbishment that was completed in the late 2000s.

Work included repainting the body in two-tone blue-gray and gold, retrimming the beige and burgundy interior, and refreshing the braking system.
