This 1978 Ferrari 512 BB started one of 929 carbureted examples built during five years of production and is said to have been delivered new in Italy to a German businessman.
In 1982, chassis 24269 reportedly underwent a conversion by Koenig Specials in Munich, Germany, that included the installation of a fiberglass widebody kit and modification of the 4.9-liter quad-cam flat-12 with twin Rajay turbochargers, twin intercoolers, and mechanical fuel injection.
The car is said to have spent several years in storage in Switzerland before being imported in 2013 to the UK, where it was purchased by its current owner in 2017.
