This 1953 Studebaker Commander Starlight coupe was initially delivered to Arizona and spent time in California before being relocated to Minnesota, where it was acquired by the seller in 1975.

Over the ensuing decades, the car was repainted in Tahoe Green and Olympic Gray, window seals were replaced, the interior was reupholstered in gray cloth, and the 232ci V8 was rebuilt along with the three-speed manual transmission with overdrive.

The front brakes were converted to discs, and other equipment includes 15” steel wheels, and a Bendix-Stromberg carburetor.

This Commander is now offered with a Studebaker National Museum reproduction build sheet, service records dating to 2007, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
