This 1967 Triumph GT6 was initially delivered to Belgium in CKD form, and it was shipped to the United States later in the 1960s.

A performance-oriented refurbishment conducted in Pennsylvania and completed around 2002 involved refinishing the body and the frame in red, installing a replacement overbored 2.0-liter inline-six, rebuilding the four-speed manual transmission, modifying the suspension, and fitting a roll cage and power windows.

The car was , and the seller acquired the vehicle later that year.

Subsequent work included installing high-back black bucket seats with red-and-gray plaid inserts as well as matching door panels, and the exterior accents were updated to being black in color.
