Chassis 2316 was completed in June 1972 with a US-market destination and was reportedly purchased new by former professional baseball pitcher Bo Belinsky.
It changed hands in 1980 and remained under the care of the same owner through the mid-2010s, at which time overhauls of the engine and servo-assisted disc brakes were carried out.
The car was sold , and it was acquired by the selling dealer in November 2023.
