TMU 3.4-Liter Inline-Six Twin SU Carburetors Four-Speed Manual Transmission Refurbished 2009-2016 Dark Green Paint Tan Upholstery Painted Wire Wheels Front Disc Brakes Power Steering Louvered Hood Brooklands Windscreens Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate This 1949 Jaguar XK120 is one of 240 aluminum-bodied roadsters built between 1948 and 1950, approximately 57 of which were configured in right-hand drive.
Chassis 660020 was manufactured on November 28, 1949, and dispatched to Australian distributor Brylaw Motors 11 days later.
It is said to have been imported to Munich, Germany, in the late 1970s before spending several years stored in a basement, where it reportedly incurred moisture damage.
Following the seller’s purchase in 2009, body repairs were completed in the UK followed by a refurbishment in Arizona between 2014 and 2016 that involved a repaint in green, reupholstery of the interior, and rebuilds of its 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six and rear differential.
