This 1963 Fiat 500D Trasformabile was acquired by the current owner in November 2021, and a subsequent refurbishment included refinishing the body in blue, reupholstering the interior in red and white, and overhauling the powertrain.

Power comes from an air-cooled 499cc inline-twin mated to a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes a half-length folding fabric sunroof, 12” wheels, polished hubcaps, chrome bumpers and trim, and rear-hinged doors.

This 500D is now offered on dealer consignment in Piacenza, Italy, with a bill of sale and an Italian registration document that lists the car as a Fiat Nuova 500D.

The car was stripped and refinished in its current shade of blue in 2022.
