This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera Supercup is a factory-built race car that was purchased new by Porsche Automoviles de Stuttgart C.A.

of Caracas, Venezuela.

The car was imported to the US in 1998 and was campaigned by a number of previous owners in various PCA Club and Porsche-BMW Owner’s Club events, including races at Road America, Watkins Glen, and Mid-Ohio prior to its acquisition in 2005 by the seller, who competed with the car at a number of tracks, including Road Atlanta, Summit Point and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

A refurbishment was carried out in 2009, while work in the last five years has included rebuilds of the 3.8-liter flat-six and six-speed manual transaxle.

The car features a blue and white livery and is equipped with Carrera RS bodywork, a roll cage with door bars, a fire suppression system, twin Recaro bucket seats, and 18” center-lock Supercup wheels.
