This 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34 was reportedly sold new in San Francisco, California and acquired by the seller around two years ago, reportedly from the nephew of its original owner.

The car is finished in white over red vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 1.5-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.

Work in 2021 is said to have included a carburetor rebuild, a fuel tank cleaning, and replacement of the brake cylinder, battery, fuel filter and lines, shift rod and coupler bushings, points, and spark plugs.

This Type 34 is being offered with shop manuals, a maintenance log, and a Kentucky title in the seller’s name.

The Karmann-built body is finished in white and features a chrome driver’s side-view mirror and bumpers with overriders.

The seller notes evidence of paint touch-up on the nose along with cracks in the rubber and various dents throughout the bodywork.
