This 1966 Alfa Romeo 2600 is one of approximately 100 Zagato-bodied Sprint coupes built during two years of production and is said to have been imported to the US from Italy in the 1970s.

Chassis 856065 was acquired from a marque collector in 1982 by the seller, a former racing driver and the proprietor of Alfa Heaven, who has since displayed the car at the Motorama Auto Museum in Aniwa, Wisconsin.

Finished in yellow over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 2.6-liter DOHC inline-six fed by triple Solex carburetors that were rebuilt in 2021.

Equipment also includes a five-speed manual transmission, Borrani alloy disc wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and independent front suspension.

This Tipo 106 SZ is now offered with a collection of literature, a copy of magazine featuring the car, a tool kit, a jack, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name listing the car as a 1967 model.
