The car was purchased by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation in 1965 out of Colorado, and it was displayed at Tony Hulman’s Early Wheels Museum in Terre Haute, Indiana, until it was incorporated into the IMS Museum collection in the 1980s.

The partitioned cabin features red cloth upholstery and jump seats in the rear, while the right-hand-drive front cabin is upholstered in black leather.

Power comes from a 4,257cc straight-six paired with a four-speed synchromesh transmission.

This Wraith was acquired by the current owner following an , and it is now offered on behalf of the owner by his brother with a clean California title that uses the car’s engine number.

The Wraith debuted in 1938 as a replacement for the 25/30 model and was built as a running chassis at the Derby factory without coachwork.
