Chassis 1076 is said to have been used by Greek government officials prior to World War II and was refurbished in Athens, Greece, before it was purchased by US Air Force Major William A.
Pelton in 1955 and imported to the US.
It was acquired by the out of Nyack, New York, in 1964.
It was displayed at Tony Hulman’s Early Wheels Museum in Terre Haute, Indiana, until the 1980s and subsequently incorporated into the collection.
It has been part of The Basement Collection tour and participated in the Isotta Franschini featured class at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The car is finished in black with a matching vinyl roof and wood accents, and power comes from a 7.4-liter inline-eight paired with a three-speed manual transmission.
