This 1940 Packard One-Twenty is one of what is said to be approximately 25 examples produced on the platform with Convertible Victoria bodywork designed by Howard “Dutch” Darrin and built by Central Manufacturing in Indiana.
The car reportedly spent several years in storage with a California collector before being refurbished by Just Packards in the mid-1990s and subsequently placing third in its class at the 1996 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
It then spent time in the Blackhawk Collection and on display at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas before being acquired by its current owner in 2017.
