This 1949 Ford F-3 pickup was acquired by the seller’s mother 14 years ago, reportedly from an uncle who had owned it since 1971 in Nebraska.

The truck is said to have been refurbished in the 1970s with a repaint and reupholstery of its bench seat as well as work on its 239-ci flathead V8, which is paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

Service in 2013 consisted of carburetor and brake master cylinder rebuilds along with replacement of ignition, braking, and fuel system components.

This F-3 is offered on behalf of its current owner by her son with a shop manual, an accessories catalog, and Washington State title in the owner’s name.

The bed and cab were repainted their current blue-green in 1971 according to the seller.

Exterior details include a beige front grille as well as a black front bumper and running boards.

A single taillight and two reflectors are affixed to the bed, the floor of which is comprised of painted wood planks with matching metal runners.
