This 1957 Zundapp Bella R203 scooter and Steib RS1 sidecar reportedly spent time in California before being separated and later rejoined by the previous owner, who completed a refurbishment in 2021.

Work is said to have included a repaint in the original shade of red, a refinished black frame, overhauls of the 200cc two-stroke single and four-speed transmission, and a refresh of the wiring, suspension, and drum brakes.

The scooter features a two-up vinyl seat, a rear-mounted spare, an electric starter, a chrome exhaust, and red leather saddlebags, while the sidecar is equipped with matching upholstery, wood armrests, and a removable windscreen.

Work completed in preparation for the sale included cleaning the fuel tank, adjustments to the carburetor and front brake, and a replacement exhaust gasket and spark plug.
