This 1981 Ralt RT5 is a Formula Super Vee race car that was campaigned by driver Mike Jablo at races in Detroit and Road America in 1985 before it was donated to the in the late 1980s.

It was subsequently incorporated into the collection, where it spent the past decade in their climate-controlled storage facility.

The car is finished in yellow with a period livery and retains a 1.6-liter water-cooled Volkswagen inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.

In preparation for the sale, IMS Museum staff installed a replacement water pump, battery, and fuel supply hoses as well as flushed the fuel cell.
